CLOSING CULTURE: DAY TWO HUNDRED FORTY WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE?
Recollecting and rejoicing all that I have seen and encountered through my traveling intutions, I have relized the cultures that I can enjoy the most, are the ones that have provided a nurtured balance of enjoying cuisine, laughter, smiles, music, celebration, and an understanding of welcoming. There are clean cultures, there are well-educated ones, and there are those that are the most productive with the most GDP and great success exporting all they produce, but the ones that are the most indulging and enjoyable aren't always the most prosperous. Why can't a culture that thrives in business and establishing global wealth within their communites be the most enjoyable for an outsider or stranger? Is it me, my lack of expecations of a nation's history, or my picky perspective on people and how they open up? Yes it can be a combination of all that, but there are just people and places due to historical conflicts, inner battles, the trusting factor, and cultural values/priorities that develop a cultures' openess and sharing power. I am not here to name names, bash, or sterotype, but simply discuss an observing observation and feeling that amoungst the borders and across our seas that there are people out there that allow themselves to live in a CLOSING CULTURE. Are they even aware of their depriving smile and laughter? Do they even care? Are they truly happy? Am I being judgemental? What do I mean when I mention closed? Basically a surrounding aura that is cautious, defensive, somewhat shunned, and not open fully. Is life more enjoyable being open? Most would say yes of course you get to experience so much more life. You allow more opportunities and possibilities to enter in your day. The argument might be that if you open up more, then you are giving yourself more chances to fail, be presented with danger, therefore allowing yourself more risk to develop drama in your life. So what type of culture you desire to enjoy? Of course it is not one or the other, since there is unlimited amounts of variety out there with so much mixing, integration, and cross-dressing, but do you enjoy risking transformation, or want to keep tame to yourself and lead a predictable way of living? I just love learning and getting exposed to an abundance of knowledge about people and places, and if I would frown around all the time, then I would just deprive others with all this wealth that I have gathered through my adventures. I constantly strive to improve my interpersonal skills and give more to others. I challenge myself, never enough, but I get out beyond my city, and live & learn among any people, any time of the day, and in any type of culture. Give people chances by giving your creative curiosity
