PATIENCE IS THE KEY: DAY SEVENTEEN WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE?
Here in the Western world life has evolved so much on speed, consumption, enormous quantities, and the size of everything. How big is your bank account, house, car, circle of friends, wallet, and even the size of calf muscles. The amount of time waiting in line for latte, lawn furniture, and laundry is quite absurd. Everyone is go go go, now now now, me me me, but is everyone really enjoying the journey? Taking the time to truly absorb one's surroundings? Where has the quality of work ethic, respect and patience gone? You know it only takes an extra 2 minutes or less to wait at that red light, or to arrive at work driving the speed limit. I know I can relate with my ADD mind that I am constantly being interrupted with my day with the notion that I have to DO more, at this pace, at this hour, under this time limit, and always am anxious thinking I just haven't done enough. Through the years I have discovered yoga, meditation, long distance running and a way to release and just let go of that eagerness to please others and myself. What I do is change up the routine, put the breaks on, get in my Tai Chi way of doing things where I open up my awareness, breathe and really just sloooow ME down. Doesn't mean I can't be efficient and pursue all that I desire to do, but I drop the blood pressure, think a little lighter, and move with focused grace. Through this way of my day I am allowed not to be so hard on myself, not misplace things as much, which results in less anxiety, more enjoyment, and lots of peace. We can't do it all just this minute. Even though everything happens within a minute somewhere, someday, somehow, but if you can create an aura for yourself where you open up your space and your senses to let in all that is around and beyond, I think life is a little more fun and you feel so much better & free. What are your intentions when you act? Are you acting before you think? How is your reaction level? How often do you restrict before you act? What do you do to prioritize your time? How effective and efficient are your methods of time management/organization? What state of mind are you in when you go to sleep? Please understand all that we do spends inertia and it is how & what we do that allows our brain to sustain its flowing mobility to function with style. So be good to yourself and praise one another for quality diet, sleep, smiling and we got to laugh more and even cry. Get out there and sweat. Don't fear of getting in the groove of things and dance away into the night. Do things that you never thought you would ever imagine doing. Discover newness and expand your horizons. Dress Up or Dress Down. Sleep in. Learn to cook and share your favorite meal with favorite company. Chew not Wolf down your Food. Remember though everything is temporary in all that we encounter so please turn around once in awhile, stop and sniff the sunflowers. Indulge in the moment and just be you. BuenDia- RVB
